Civil Sr. Procurement Engineer

Job Title: Civil Sr. Procurement Engineer Location: Dubai, UAE Industry: Construction & Contracting Package: - Salary: under AED 20K (based on experience) - Benefits: Visa, Ticket, Insurance (self) Job Summary: Our client is seeking an experienced Civil Sr. Procurement Engineer to lead procurement activities for their high-rise building projects in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in material procurement, vendor management, and cost optimization. Key Responsibilities: - Manage procurement activities for civil, MEP, finishing, and façade works - Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve best value and quality - Coordinate with technical, site, planning, and commercial teams - Evaluate suppliers, prepare technical and commercial comparisons, and issue purchase orders - Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts - Ensure compliance with UAE procurement practices and contracts - Support cost control, lead time management, and material planning Requirements: - 7-10 years of procurement experience in construction and contracting - Strong experience in high-rise building projects in Dubai/UAE - Extensive network of vendors and suppliers in the UAE market - Excellent negotiation and commercial skills - Solid understanding of technical specifications, drawings, BOQs, and project requirements - Strong knowledge of UAE procurement practices, contracts, and compliance requirements Key Competencies: - Strategic sourcing and vendor management - Cost optimization and value engineering support - Strong communication and stakeholder coordination - High attention to detail and accountability - Ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines Note: Must be available in UAE for face-to-face interview.
