Job Title: Electrical Power Production Technician (PPT) Location: Al Sailiya, Qatar Contract: 3 months (extendable) Industry: Construction Experience: Minimum 5 years Visa Requirement: Candidates must be locally available in Qatar with a valid Freelance Visa Job Summary We are seeking experienced Electrical Power Production Technicians (PPT) for a construction project in Al Sailiya, Qatar . The technician will be responsible for positioning and maintaining generators used with Bear modules, installing grounding systems, and ensuring efficient power distribution and operation. The role requires strong technical skills, the ability to perform routine maintenance and repairs, and adherence to strict Health, Safety & Environmental standards. Key Responsibilities Position generators for use with Bear modules and ensure proper setup. Install grounding systems and establish power distribution systems to service Bear modules. Fuel generators and maintain oil, coolant, and other fluid levels. Perform basic repairs and scheduled maintenance as required. Prepare and manage required parts and tools for maintenance tasks. Conduct troubleshooting using diagnostic tools and equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure tools are in good working condition. Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation. Report any safety incidents or operational issues to the supervisor immediately. Skills & Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical power generation and maintenance, preferably in the construction industry . Proven ability to carry out basic repairs and scheduled maintenance on different generator types with minimal supervision. Strong understanding of diagnostic tools and equipment. Capable of electrical repair and maintenance work independently. Good knowledge of safety practices and ability to identify potential risks. Completion of required safety training and adherence to Job Safety Assessment processes. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Eligibility Candidates must be available locally in Qatar . Must hold a valid Freelance Visa .
