Industrial Forklift Operator - Pipe Yard

Pay: $18–$20 per hour (based on experience) Schedule: Full-time/Temp-to-hire Job Summary Our client is seeking an experienced Industrial Forklift Operator to work in an oil field pipe yard environment. This role requires safe and efficient operation of forklifts while supporting shipping, receiving, and inventory control activities. The ideal candidate has experience handling pipe or heavy materials and understands yard operations in an industrial or oil & gas setting. Key Responsibilities Operate industrial forklifts safely to load, unload, move, and stage oil field pipe and materials Assist with shipping and receiving , including verifying loads and documentation Support inventory control , tracking materials and reporting discrepancies Inspect equipment and materials for damage or safety issues Maintain an organized and safe yard environment Follow all safety procedures, yard rules, and company policies Required Qualifications Proven experience operating industrial forklifts (pipe yard or oil field experience preferred) Experience with shipping, receiving, and/or inventory management Ability to handle heavy materials in an outdoor, industrial environment Strong attention to safety and detail Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in an oil & gas pipe yard Familiarity with inventory systems or yard management processes What We Offer Competitive hourly pay of $18–$20/hour , depending on experience Steady, full-time work Opportunity to work in a fast-paced industrial environment
