Java Full-Stack Software Engineer

Our Client Our client is a fintech-software company , part of a leading European financial group, delivering advanced software solutions and data-driven services . They specialise in banking-tech platforms and data engineering , supporting the groups digital-transformation ambitions. Role Overview: Deliver production-ready features as part of Scrum-based development teams . Contribute ideas, influence decisions, and implement innovative solutions to enhance and expand the companys software portfolio. Depending on your level of experience, support and mentor junior developers within your area of expertise. Design, build, and integrate business workflow applications , including the configuration of business rules. Maintain and evolve existing Appway workflows , ensuring reliability and performance. Requirements: An advanced degree in Software Engineering and a genuine passion for technology, ideally supported by personal or side projects . Strong experience in designing, developing, and testing high-quality software , applying object-oriented principles, design patterns, web services, UML, and algorithms . Excellent command of Java and the broader Java-based technology stack . Experience with BPM notation is a strong advantage. Hands-on experience with JPA/Hibernate, Spring, SQL, and relational databases . Exposure to Angular or other front-end frameworks is a plus. Practical knowledge of software development tools and practices , such as Git, Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, Maven, JUnit, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes . Strong interest in DevOps practices and cloud-based architectures . Fluency in English , both written and spoken; French is considered a plus.
