QA Manager - Construction

Our client is a well-established organisation operating in the construction, engineering, and quality assurance sector, delivering high-standard services across major building and infrastructure projects in Malta. The company is known for its technical expertise, regulatory compliance, and strong focus on quality and safety. Position Overview The QA Manager will lead and manage the Quality Assurance function across construction projects, ensuring that all works comply with internal quality systems, client requirements, and Maltese regulations. This is a senior role requiring strong leadership, technical competence, and hands-on site experience. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC systems and procedures Ensure compliance with technical standards, specifications, and local regulations Conduct site inspections, audits, and quality assessments Identify non-conformities and ensure corrective actions are implemented Maintain QA documentation, reports, and traceability records Liaise with project teams, consultants, and clients on quality matters Train and support staff on quality requirements and best practices Drive continuous improvement across operations Qualifications & Requirements MQF Level 4 in Construction Management or higher Valid Maltese Driving Licence – Category B (mandatory) Strong background in construction QA/QC and site operations Excellent knowledge of Maltese building regulations and standards Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and method statements close attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills Very good communication skills in English (Maltese an asset) Organised, professional, and able to work independently Preferred Qualified Perit (Architect / Engineer) – highly desirable Previous experience in a QA / QC / Compliance leadership role Whats on Offer Senior full-time role with a reputable client Long-term career opportunity Professional and structured working environment Competitive package depending on experience and qualifications
