Junior Sales Manager Europe Engineering / Technical Plastic Products Location: Central Europe (Germany, France, Northern Italy, or nearby) Extensive European Travel Required About the Opportunity On behalf of a leading European distributor of technical and engineering plastic materials, we are looking for Junior Sales Manager to support and expand the business activities across Europe. This role offers a unique opportunity for an ambitious, technically minded sales professional to develop within a fast-growing international environment. The position can be based anywhere in central Europe , with significant travel across the region, including approximately one week per month in Valencia/Catalonia, Spain . Role Overview The Junior Sales Manager will be responsible for developing commercial activities in the engineering and technical plastics segment. Working closely with regional teams and headquarters, you will manage customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, and contribute to strategic growth initiatives. This is a highly mobile position suited to a dynamic professional comfortable with frequent travel and cross-border business development. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage a portfolio of customers in the engineering/technical plastics sector Identify and acquire new clients across assigned European territories Maintain and strengthen long-term relationships with key accounts Conduct regular on-site visits with customers and suppliers Collaborate closely with internal sourcing and logistics teams Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports Travel extensively across Europe, including monthly presence in Spain Candidate Profile 1–3 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally within plastics, polymers, chemicals, or other industrial materials Technical background (engineering, materials science, polymer science, or related field) preferred Strong commercial drive and entrepreneurial mindset Excellent communication and negotiation skills Fluent in English; additional European languages (German, French, Italian, or Spanish) are highly valued Willingness and flexibility to travel frequently across Europe Ability to work independently while being part of an international team Whats Offered International exposure within a leading plastics and chemicals distribution group Strong development and career progression opportunities Competitive compensation package (base + performance-based variable component) High level of autonomy and responsibility from day one Dynamic, multicultural working environment If you are a driven junior sales professional seeking an international career in the engineering plastics sector, we look forward to receiving your application.
