Fintech Legal Director

Legal Director Location: Pittsburgh, PA, United States Type: Full-Time Contractor (Remote) Overview We are seeking a Legal Director to establish and lead the company's legal function. What Youll Do Commercial Contracts - Draft, review, and negotiate enterprise and institutional contracts, including SaaS, licensing, data-sharing, and tokenization agreements. - Create and maintain contract templates and playbooks to support scalable business operations. - Execute contract signatures with multiple stakeholders. Compliance, Regulatory & Commercial Oversight - Lead the company's compliance function, covering financial services, tokenization, payments, data privacy, and cybersecurity. - Monitor and interpret evolving U.S. and international regulations impacting fintech and blockchain operations. - Engage with regulators, auditors, and external counsel to manage filings, audits, or inquiries. - Draft, review, and negotiate enterprise and institutional contracts, including SaaS, licensing, tokenization, and data-sharing agreements. - Develop and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and scalable processes to support business operations. Qualifications & Experience - Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. - Active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar. - 3 years of legal experience, including substantial in-house experience in technology or fintech sectors. - Proven experience in corporate law and commercial contracts. - Strong working knowledge of fintech, blockchain, tokenization, and digital asset regulations.
