We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Worker (PSW) to provide one-on-one care for a client in a Retirement Home setting in Burlington, ON . Position Details: Schedule: 3 hours in the morning & 3 hours in the evening Days: 7 days per week Total Hours: 42 hours per week Job Description: Are you a caring and reliable PSW who is passionate about delivering high-quality, client-centered care? Highlights: One-on-one client-focused care Supportive and respectful care environment Consistent weekly schedule Opportunity to build meaningful client relationships Quick Information: Compensation: $19 – $21/hour Requirements: Valid PSW Certificate Vulnerable Sector Check (within 6 months) TB Test (up-to-date) CPR/First Aid (asset) Previous retirement home or private care experience (asset) Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor Strong time management and organizational skills Experience in dementia care (asset) Reliable attendance and positive work record Key Responsibilities: Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) Assist with morning and evening routines (hygiene, dressing, grooming) Support mobility and safe transfers Assist with meal preparation and feeding if required Monitor and report changes in the clients condition Maintain accurate documentation as required Promote client dignity, independence, and comfort Follow Infection Prevention and Control practices Maintain a safe and respectful environment
