This role sits at the intersection of technical leadership, hands-on data engineering, and architectural ownership . You will lead a team building secure, scalable, analytics-ready data platforms while shaping best practices across the organization. What You'll Do Lead and mentor a team of data engineers Drive architecture for ETL/ELT pipelines and orchestration frameworks Oversee analytics-ready data modeling and transformation layers Champion data governance, lineage, and quality frameworks Ensure engineering best practices across CI/CD and testing Optimize performance and cost across Snowflake and Databricks Partner with stakeholders to align data solutions with business needs Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation Tech Environment SQL and Python Airflow or Prefect dbt Snowflake and/or Databricks CI/CD and automated testing Infrastructure as Code What We're Looking For Proven experience leading technical data engineering teams Strong SQL and Python programming skills Hands-on orchestration experience (Airflow or Prefect) Deep expertise with dbt and analytics modeling Experience operating Snowflake or Databricks at scale Strong data modeling and schema design knowledge Excellent stakeholder communication skills Nice to Have Streaming ingestion (Kafka, EventHub) Spark experience Data governance and lineage tooling Terraform or Pulumi exposure Cost optimization in cloud data platforms Why This Role Stands Out Strategic leadership scope with hands-on impact Investment in modern data lake architecture Strong focus on innovation and advanced analytics Flexible hybrid model Long-term incentive program and training investment If you enjoy building scalable data platforms while mentoring teams and shaping architecture, we'd like to meet you...
