D365 FO Commerce Functional Consultant

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced D365 FO Commerce Functional Consultant to join our dynamic team in Portugal. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, with a focus on Commerce modules, and will play a key role in designing, implementing, and supporting end-to-end retail and e-commerce solutions. Tasks Key Responsibilities: Lead functional design, configuration, and implementation of D365 FO Commerce modules, including Retail, e-commerce, POS, and related components. Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into functional specifications. Work closely with technical teams to ensure solutions align with business processes. Configure workflows, merchandising, pricing, inventory, and customer management functionalities. Provide functional guidance and support during UAT, testing, and deployment. Conduct training sessions for end-users and create functional documentation. Collaborate with other D365 FO functional consultants (Finance, Supply Chain, etc.) to ensure seamless integration across modules. Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues, ensuring optimal system performance and usability. Requirements Required Skills & Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a D365 FO Functional Consultant with a focus on Commerce/Retail. Strong knowledge of D365 FO Retail, POS, and Commerce modules , including e-commerce integrations. Experience in business process analysis, requirement gathering, and solution design. Understanding of integrations with other Microsoft products (Power Platform, Azure, etc.) is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team. Strong communication skills in English ; Portuguese is a plus. Desired Attributes: Experience with Omni-channel commerce solutions. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
