Legacy Staffing is currently seeking a skilled and compassionate X-ray Technician on behalf of a reputable outpatient healthcare provider. This role is ideal for a certified radiologic technologist who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and is committed to delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging and patient care. The position is Temp-to-Hire and is open to entry level candidates who just graduated from a program. Position Overview The X-ray Technician will perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and image quality. This individual will collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to support accurate diagnoses and maintain a clean, compliant, and patient-centered work environment. Key Responsibilities: Imaging & Patient Care Perform X-ray exams as ordered by physicians, following safety and aseptic protocols Produce high-quality diagnostic images in a growing outpatient setting Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures to reduce anxiety and ensure comfort Operate X-ray equipment and adjust settings to optimize image clarity Documentation & Collaboration Maintain accurate records of patient history, imaging results, and documentation Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to support comprehensive care Perform proper intake and documentation for radiologist review Safety & Compliance Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe exam room Submit supply requests and participate in quality control procedures Ensure compliance with HIPAA, state regulations, and internal policies Qualifications: ARRT (R) Certification California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) License Fluoroscopy License Strong interpersonal and communication skills Commitment to compassionate, professional patient care Basic computer proficiency; RIS/PACS experience preferred Ability to work independently and manage workflow efficiently Preferred 1+ years of experience in a clinical imaging setting Willingness to obtain CT certification Bilingual (a plus, but not required) Schedule: 8-hour shifts Day shift, Monday to Friday Occasional Saturdays as needed Compensation: Hourly Rate: $34.00 – $38.00 Final pay will be based on experience, certifications, and clinical background.
