Job Description Manage civil defense matters from early case assessment through resolution, including construction defect litigation Draft and argue motions (including dispositive motions), pleadings, and key case strategy documents Handle written discovery: propound, respond, meet-and-confer, and motion practice when needed Take and defend depositions; prepare witnesses and work with experts Appear at hearings and actively support trial preparation (trial participation encouraged as experience allows) Communicate professionally with clients, carriers, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders Qualifications 2+ years of civil litigation experience (insurance defense strongly preferred) Active Colorado Bar license and in good standing Currently living in Colorado Solid working knowledge of Colorado and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills Construction defect litigation experience preferred; judicial clerkship experience is a plus Genuine interest in practicing construction defect law (required) Why You Will Love Working Here Youll work alongside a collaborative team that values sharp lawyering, clear communication, and steady professional growth.
