Job description: Job Title: Front End Driver Location: Kingston Compensation: $27.50/hr Work Hours: Be prepared for 50+ hour weeks Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and experienced Front End Driver to safely operate a front-end garbage truck on assigned routes. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent driving skills, and the ability to maintain high standards of service in waste collection. Key Responsibilities Safely operate a Front-End Garbage Truck on assigned routes. Collect and empty large commercial bins and multi-family containers according to service schedules. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs. Monitor bin conditions and report issues such as damage, blocked access, or contamination. Ensure compliance with municipal and company waste collection standards. Maintain accurate logs and service records. Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers on-site. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience operating a Front-End Collection Truck (1.5 years may be considered). Valid A/Z class drivers license. Experience operating other equipment such as dozers or skid steers is an asset. Previous experience in waste collection is a plus. Exceptional work ethic, reliability, and professionalism.
