Electrical Engineer- Inspector

Electrical Engineer- Inspector Job Description: Experienced Electrical Engineer – Inspector to join our Supervision Team in Qatar . The ideal candidate will have 7–10 years of experience in consultancy firms, with proven expertise in supervising residential projects . Responsibilities: · Inspect and monitor electrical works on site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and QCS/international standards. · Assist in reviewing shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements. · Conduct daily site inspections for electrical installations including power, lighting, and ELV/low-current systems. · Ensure contractors work is carried out according to project requirements, codes, and safety standards. · Report site progress, issues, and non-conformances to the Senior Electrical Engineer and Project Manager. · Participate in site testing and commissioning of electrical systems. · Coordinate with other discipline inspectors and site teams for smooth project execution. · Support in preparing inspection reports, site records, and technical documentation. · Enforce health, safety, and environmental standards on site. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering 7-10 years of consultancy experience , with strong background in residential projects. Must be currently based in Qatar . Strong knowledge of QCS, local authority regulations, and international codes. Experience in site inspections, testing, and commissioning. Strong attention to detail and reporting skills. MMUP/UPDA certification (preferred).
