Purpose of the Role Lead the commercial strategy of the organization, ensuring revenue growth, market expansion, and the development of a high-performing sales team Oversee all aspects of sales operations, including deal structuring, negotiations, and strategic relationship management Key Responsibilities Drive overall sales strategy and ensure company sales targets are met Guide and mentor Business Developers on contract negotiations, client deal structuring, and closing tactics Source large, high-quality leads and manage strategic relationships Ensure SOP compliance and improve divisional efficiencies Build and develop a high-performing sales team Qualifications Minimum: BCom in Business Administration or Marketing Ideal: Postgraduate qualification in Marketing or MBA Experience 8+ years in senior commercial or sales leadership roles within Solar Power, Manufacturing, or Engineering sectors Skills & Competencies Skills: Leadership, Negotiation, Strategic Sales Planning, Communication, Planning & Organization Knowledge: Contractual agreements, Sales & Marketing methods, Solar power industry, MS Office suite Characteristics: Strategic thinker, Client-focused, Professional, Proactive, Entrepreneurial Performance Indicators Achievement of annual sales targets Growth in revenue and market share Team performance and adherence to SOPs Quality and conversion rate of strategic leads Client satisfaction and retention
