Business Development Manager (Sustainability & ESG) Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid) Compensation: $110,000 - $120,000 USD Annual Base + Performance Bonuses +2 Role Summary We are seeking a high-performing Business Development Manager to drive strategic growth in the sustainability and ESG consulting sector. This role is designed for a results-oriented professional capable of identifying new market opportunities and positioning our firm as a leader in social impact and environmental due diligence. Key Challenges & Impact Market Expansion: Build a robust client base within a highly competitive ESG and sustainability landscape. Thought Leadership: Stay at the forefront of evolving global ESG standards and regulatory trends. Client Stewardship: Transition new leads into long-term, high-value partnerships. Main Responsibilities Growth Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive market expansion plans aligned with corporate objectives. Sales Lifecycle Management: From lead generation to closing complex consulting service deals. Strategic Proposals: Deliver tailored sustainability solutions and negotiate high-level contracts. Market Intelligence: Conduct deep-dive research to identify untapped opportunities in the environmental sector. The Ideal Candidate Experience: 4-6 years in Business Development or Client Management, specifically within ESG, sustainability, or environmental consulting. Track Record: Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed ambitious sales targets. Education: College Degree required. Stability: Minimum of 1 year in previous roles.
