Shipping & Receiving Superintendent – Manufacturing / Warehouse Operations Industry: Manufacturing | Food Production | Refrigerated Warehouse Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Shipping & Receiving Superintendent to lead warehouse and materials handling operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This leadership role is responsible for shipping, receiving, FIFO compliance, inventory accuracy, safety, and team performance , with a strong focus on productivity, quality, and food/plant safety. Key Responsibilities Oversee all shipping and receiving operations , including FIFO execution, load times, and inventory accuracy Maintain and enforce powered industrial equipment (forklift) safety programs Partner with Safety and Operations teams to identify risks and ensure employee protection Communicate inbound and outbound issues to support production and scheduling needs Lead, coach, and engage warehouse teams; support labor and employee relations initiatives Develop training plans and drive process improvement initiatives Ensure compliance in refrigerated and freezer warehouse environments , including PPE requirements Qualifications 3+ years of progressive management experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or refrigerated warehouse setting Strong knowledge of FIFO, inventory control, load optimization, and materials handling Hands-on experience supporting safety programs for powered industrial equipment Ability to work in cold/freezer environments and lift up to 50 lbs as needed Stable work history with strong tenure Preferred Bachelors degree Why Join Us Leadership role with operational ownership Stable manufacturing environment Opportunity to impact safety, efficiency, and team performance
