Finance Business Partner

Finance Business Partner Our client, a leading international organisation within the iGaming industry, is seeking a Finance Business Partner to support strategic decision-making across key markets and brands. The role is responsible for providing financial insight, driving business performance, and ensuring strong compliance within a fast-paced and highly regulated environment. This position blends strategic financial partnership, commercial analysis, and performance leadership. The successful candidate will work closely with Managing Directors and senior stakeholders, delivering actionable insights that support growth, investment decisions, and operational improvements. Location : Malta or Stockholm, with three days per week working from the office Responsibilities: As Finance Business Partner , your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Collaborate with Managing Directors and the leadership team to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives Provide actionable insights to support growth, investment decisions, and operational improvements Be a part of budgeting, forecasting, and monthly and quarterly reporting processes for assigned markets Develop and maintain robust financial models and dashboards to monitor business performance, risks, and opportunities Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management and external stakeholders Ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements, including those specific to the online gambling industry Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes and systems, driving automation and efficiency Implement best practices to streamline month-end close and routine financial operations Oversee financial risk assessments and ensure adequate controls and mitigation strategies are in place Mentor and support finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth Act as a key liaison between Finance and other business units to ensure cohesive strategy execution Requirements: Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent) preferred A minimum of 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in financial management or business partnering roles Demonstrable experience in a senior finance role within the online gambling sector Familiarity with financial systems and reporting tools such as NetSuite ERP, Adaptive Planning (Workday), and Tableau is beneficial Strong ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively to both financial and non-financial stakeholders A proactive and strategic mindset with a track record of driving process improvements and supporting business transformation Excellent leadership skills with the ability to mentor teams and build strong cross-functional relationships High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail, with a commitment to excellence in financial reporting and compliance This is an exceptional opportunity to apply your expertise and contribute to the success of a high-performing organisation with a global presence.
