Product Owner (English-Speaking) - Remote from Portugal

We’re looking for an English-speaking Product Owner to support product delivery by ensuring strong alignment between business needs, data insights and technical execution in a complex, highly regulated environment. You’ll work closely with a Product Manager / Lead PO and act as a key bridge between stakeholders and delivery teams—bringing clarity, structure and momentum from discovery through execution. Tasks Define, clarify and maintain product requirements end-to-end Translate business needs into actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, flows and specifications Own and maintain the backlog in Jira (refinement, prioritisation, readiness, dependencies) Document decisions, requirements and process flows in Confluence Coordinate cross-team topics, dependencies and follow-ups to keep delivery unblocked Support prioritisation and decision-making using product data and insights Help align delivery with technical constraints and governance requirements (security, compliance, architecture) Support the Product Manager / Lead PO in day-to-day product activities Requirements Fluent English (spoken and written) Proven experience as a Product Owner and/or Business Analyst Strong, clear and structured communication skills (stakeholder-facing) Ability to translate business needs into well-scoped, buildable product requirements Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence Comfortable working in agile product teams and multi-stakeholder environments Technical background in software development or a closely related area (or equivalent experience working very closely with engineering teams) Able to engage in technical discussions, understand dependencies, and navigate delivery trade-offs Structured, autonomous, pragmatic, execution-focused and impact-driven Tools & analytics Analytics supports prioritisation and measurement (not the core of the job, but important): GA4 (required) Amplitude (preferred) Experience with product metrics, user journeys and funnels Benefits 100% remote setup from Portugal High cross-functional exposure (Engineering, Security, Legal & Compliance, Data) Strong delivery and documentation culture (Jira + Confluence) Opportunity to work in a complex, regulated environment with real product impact Learning and growth opportunities within a product-led team
