Network Security Engineer (Onsite, Lahore, PKR Salary)

Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of hands-on experience in network security and enterprise networking environments. Strong hands-on experience with BGP configuration and troubleshooting. Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing, and switching concepts. Proven experience in firewall configuration, security policy implementation, and traffic management. Practical experience with SNAT, DNAT, and Port Forwarding. Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks and Fortinet firewalls. Experience managing firewall policies through Panorama. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Relevant certifications (e.g., PCNSE, NSE, CCNP Security) will be considered an advantage. Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage secure network architectures to ensure high availability and performance. Configure, manage, and troubleshoot firewalls including Palo Alto Networks and Fortinet devices. Administer and maintain centralized firewall management platforms such as Panorama. Implement and manage routing protocols, particularly BGP, to support complex enterprise network environments. Configure and manage security policies, NAT rules (SNAT, DNAT), and port forwarding to ensure secure and optimized traffic flow. Monitor network performance and security events; proactively identify and resolve network vulnerabilities and incidents. Troubleshoot network connectivity issues across LAN/WAN environments. Collaborate with IT and security teams to strengthen overall infrastructure security posture. Maintain documentation for network configurations, policies, and procedures.
