They operate within complex, high-availability ecosystems where architecture governance and long-term scalability are critical. This is an opportunity to shape foundational systems and influence long-term technology strategy on a two-year contract. The Role: Systems Architect The Systems Architect will lead the design and governance of enterprise-wide architecture frameworks across multiple development initiatives. This role exists to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing systems aligned to strategic objectives. You will define standards, guide technical direction, and ensure integration across complex platforms and environments. Key Responsibilities 8–12+ years of experience in software engineering or architecture roles Design and document enterprise system architecture and technical frameworks Define integration strategies across platforms, services, and applications Establish and enforce technology standards and architectural governance Guide development teams on architectural principles and key technical decisions Ensure system scalability, performance optimisation, and security compliance Collaborate with stakeholders to align architecture with business strategy About You 8–12+ years of experience in enterprise software engineering or architecture Proven track record designing and implementing enterprise-level architectures Strong experience working within cloud environments Solid understanding of integration patterns, security frameworks, and scalability principles Bachelors or Honours Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Architecture certifications advantageous Strong strategic thinking ability with a structured and solution-driven mindset Confident communicator able to influence senior technical and business stakeholders
