Job Title: Accountant Location: Hybrid (3 days from the office) in the Quad, Mhriehel (Malta) Reporting to: Finance Manager The Role We’re looking for 2x a detail-oriented and proactive Accountants to join our Finance team. You’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with tax and regulatory obligations, and supporting ongoing audits and process improvements for casino brands. Key Responsibilities Perform general accounting functions, including preparation of timely and accurate monthly management accounts. Handle bank and PSP reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and revenue recognition. Assist in preparing and analysing tax and VAT obligations, ensuring full compliance with local regulations. Support audit processes and preparation of annual financial statements in line with IFRS standards. Conduct monthly cost and revenue analysis, providing actionable insights to management. Prepare various compliance reports, including Company Tax, VAT, and gaming tax submissions. Contribute to the development and improvement of finance processes across the company. Carry out additional finance-related tasks as required. What You Bring 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a professional services firm or iGaming company. A recognized Accounting degree or in the final stages of qualification. Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Confidence to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment. A team player who can also work independently and take initiative. For one of the roles, knowledge in Crypto currencies is highly disireable.
