Senior Software Engineer – Industrial IoT (Azure)

About The Role We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer – Industrial IoT (Azure) to join a global Digital & IT organization specializing in Industrial IoT solutions. In this role, you will design, develop, and scale enterprise-grade Industrial IoT (IIoT) solutions across international manufacturing sites. You will act as a key technical contributor and in some initiatives, a technical lead ensuring high-quality, secure, and scalable Azure-based solutions that enable Industry 4.0 transformation. Key Responsibilities Develop high-quality Industrial IoT applications using Microsoft Azure IoT services Design and implement end-to-end IIoT architectures (device → edge → cloud → application layer) Lead or contribute to IoT projects across multiple business units and manufacturing sites Translate business and operational requirements into scalable, secure technical solutions Contribute across the full software development lifecycle (analysis, development, testing, deployment, monitoring) Support and guide manufacturing teams in implementing and scaling IIoT initiatives Create and maintain IIoT architectural guidelines and best practices Identify and propose new IIoT use cases and innovation opportunities Ensure delivery standards across performance, security, reliability, and long-term maintainability Required Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure IoT Proven experience in full-stack development (React JS and .NET preferred) Experience designing and delivering cloud-native or microservices-based architectures Experience managing all phases of the software development lifecycle Experience working in cross-functional and multi-stakeholder environments Technical Competencies Industrial IoT: Azure IoT Hub, edge computing concepts, telemetry ingestion Web technologies: JavaScript frameworks, React JS Backend development: .NET (C# preferred) Python for Machine Learning and analytics use cases Basic understanding of data analytics pipelines Foundational knowledge in Automatics, Robotics, and Electronics Preferred Skills Experience in manufacturing or Industry 4.0 environments DevOps and CI/CD pipeline experience Knowledge of industrial communication contexts Exposure to scalable enterprise IoT deployments What We Offer Opportunity to work on enterprise-scale Industrial IoT platforms Exposure to advanced Azure-based industrial solutions Collaborative and innovation-driven technical environment Professional growth within a global organization If you are passionate about building scalable Industrial IoT systems and driving digital transformation in manufacturing environments, we encourage you to apply here.
