HC Consultant – Global Fleet Development Lead

We are looking for a consultant lead the development, optimization, and digitisation of global fleet sales processes. They will support strategic fleet initiatives, drive digital transformation, and enable scalable global fleet operations that enhance customer and partner journeys. A key component of the role is translating business needs into digital development and supporting full end to end implementation across markets. Assignment description and main responsibilities Key responsibilities include: Project Leadership & Delivery  Lead fleet development and digitization projects in collaboration with the Commercial Process Development team.  Ensure structured project execution with clear milestones, risk management, and progress tracking.  Support project managers and cross-functional teams to secure alignment and delivery. Process Development & Optimization  Map, design, and improve fleet sales processes across regions.  Standardize global approaches while supporting market-specific needs.  Identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities to ensure efficient fleet operations. Digital Transformation & Requirement Management  Gather, structure, and document business requirements for digital teams.  Work closely with digital product owners and developers throughout the development lifecycle.  Support functional testing, validation, rollout, and adoption of new fleet digital solutions. Stakeholder Engagement & Alignment  Collaborate with regional fleet teams, central sales, finance, legal, and digital functions.  Facilitate cross-functional workshops, alignment meetings, and information flow.  Represent fleet development needs in governance and prioritization forums. Reporting & Strategic Insights  Provide clear and actionable updates on project progress, roadmap status, and fleet development KPIs.  Deliver structured insights and recommendations to leadership. Training & Change Management  Support global teams in adopting new fleet tools, processes, and ways of working.  Ensure successful implementation through hands-on guidance and documentation. A strong candidate will be:  Used to being a bridge between business and digital, balancing operations & business know how with structured requirements creation.  Comfortable working in a fast moving EV/OEM environment.  Experienced in cross market rollout, partner facing engagement, and complex delivery operations.  Preferably someone who already understands Polestar’s systems, processes, and culture, reducing onboarding time.  A seasoned automotive process expert with end to end order fulfilment experience. o Age and time within automotive is not necessarily key, specific competence relevant to the role and the environment at Polestar will be valued higher  Soft skills and communication skills will be crucial along with strong stakeholder skills.  Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities  Excellent written and verbal communication skills  A high level of discretion when handling confidential information Other requirements The consultant will collaborate closely with:  Market teams (global & regional)  Polestar partner network  Digital teams, including product owners and developers  CX teams The team The Global Commercial Process Development Team is dedicated to designing, optimizing, and enabling world-class commercial processes that drive efficiency, consistency, and sustainable growth across all commercial channels. With a global perspective and a collaborative approach, we work to ensure seamless integration of systems, tools, and processes that support Polestar’s strategic objectives and deliver exceptional customer experiences. We are a small team covering a lot of ground with a strong focus on implementation and adoption.  Sales operations & process performance leads  Fleet operations & logistics stakeholders Plus/bonus:  Experience with Jira and Confluence (for documentation, requirement management, and sprint collaboration).  Experience with collaborative tools such as Miro.  Understanding of fleet financial models, TCO frameworks, and contract management processes Preferred Experience  Fleet sales or fleet sales development experience (OEM, leasing, mobility, fleet management provider).  Automotive industry background with understanding of B2B fleet operations.  Demonstrated experience in business development, specifically within fleet or mobility services.  Proven work with digital teams, including: o requirement creation and refinement, o sprint collaboration, o user story documentation, o end-to-end solution development, o implementation and market rollout.
