Part-Time Construction Safety Manager (OSHA 30 Required) – Commercial Construction | $35–$38/hr We are hiring an experienced Construction Safety Manager to lead safety programs across active commercial construction sites. This part-time, in-person role is ideal for a safety professional with strong OSHA compliance , risk assessment , and EHS management experience in U.S. construction environments. If you have a proven track record of managing safety audits, incident investigations, and OSHA documentation across multiple job sites, we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities Lead and enforce OSHA 30-compliant safety programs across commercial construction projects Conduct safety audits, site inspections, and risk assessments Develop and implement site-specific safety plans and hazard mitigation strategies Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and state/local regulations Manage incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions Oversee workers' compensation case management Maintain OSHA logs, permits, safety documentation, and regulatory reporting Deliver EHS training programs , monthly safety meetings, and new hire safety orientation Promote a proactive culture of workplace safety and compliance Qualifications Minimum 3+ years of commercial construction safety management experience OR Bachelor's degree in EHS, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification (Active & Verifiable) – Required Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations specific to commercial construction Experience with safety audits, risk assessments, and OSHA recordkeeping Proven experience managing incident investigations and workers' compensation cases Strong documentation, reporting, and communication skills Ability to train and present safety programs to construction personnel Job Details Job Type: Part-Time (20–40 hours per week) Pay: $35.00 – $38.00 per hour Annual Range Equivalent: $72,000 – $80,000 Work Location: In Person (U.S. Commercial Construction Sites) Highly Preferred Experience Managing safety programs across multiple job sites Developing construction safety protocols and training materials OSHA compliance audits and regulatory reporting
