Business Analyst – IT / Applications Location: Bangalore, India (Hybrid – Office & Home) Employment Type: Contract (6 months, extendable) Experience Level: Mid-Level We are recruiting on behalf of a technology organization seeking a Business Analyst to support business applications, process improvement initiatives, and stakeholder coordination across IT and shared services teams. About the Role The Business Analyst will work closely with business users and technical teams to gather requirements, support system enhancements, and ensure the successful delivery of applications and process improvements. The role combines requirements analysis, testing, documentation, and application support in a fast-paced IT environment. Key Responsibilities Requirements Gathering & Analysis Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and improvement opportunities Document functional requirements, workflows, and use cases Analyze existing processes and recommend enhancements or automation opportunities Project & Change Management Participate in solution design discussions with technical teams Support change requests and system enhancements from requirement to deployment Assist in planning, testing, and rollout of new features or upgrades Coordination & Communication Act as a liaison between business teams and technical teams Facilitate workshops, meetings, and requirement sessions Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors Application Support Provide application support and assist with issue resolution Manage tickets using ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow or similar) Support UAT coordination, user access management, and post-deployment validation Documentation & Quality Assurance Maintain documentation such as SOPs, process maps, and requirement documents Prepare and execute test cases and track defects Ensure delivered solutions meet business and quality standards Data & Reporting Perform basic data analysis, validation, and reporting Support audit and compliance activities when required These responsibilities align with the Business Analyst scope described in the role brief. Job Description - BA Requirements Bachelors degree in IT, Business, Computer Science, or related field Experience as a Business Analyst or similar role Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Experience translating business requirements into functional specifications Strong analytical and documentation skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines Preferred Qualifications Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow Knowledge of SQL, Excel, or reporting tools Experience supporting system implementation or application support projects Key Skills Requirements analysis Business process mapping UAT and testing support Stakeholder management Documentation and reporting Application support How to Apply Please apply with Resume.
