Bilingual Cardiology Clinical Support Specialist (Spanish-English) Location: Remote | U.S. Business Hours Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role We are seeking a qualified Bilingual Cardiology Clinical Support Specialist (Spanish-English) with a nursing or healthcare background to support a U.S.-based clinical team. In this role, you will manage patient communications in both Spanish and English, coordinate cardiac care, and support clinical and operational workflows while ensuring accuracy, empathy, and professionalism at all times. Key Responsibilities Bilingual Patient Communication & Care Coordination Communicate with patients in Spanish and English via phone, text, email, and secure patient portals Schedule appointments, manage reminders, and coordinate follow-ups using EMR/EHR systems Reinforce provider-directed care instructions within scope (no diagnosing or prescribing) Support care coordination for cardiology patients, including those managing Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) Facilitate clear communication between patients and clinical staff Clinical Documentation & Workflow Support Maintain accurate, detailed, and confidential patient records Support billing documentation and insurance coordination as needed Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations Utilize approved digital and AI-supported tools to assist with documentation organization, note structuring, and workflow efficiency (AI tools support efficiency only — not clinical decision-making) Required Qualifications Nursing or clinical healthcare background required (CNA, MA, RN, or equivalent clinical experience) Fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken) Minimum English proficiency: B2+ (professional communication required) At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare, telehealth, or medical office setting Direct experience in Cardiology , including comprehensive exposure to Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) Strong understanding of cardiac terminology and patient care workflows Experience using EMR/EHR systems (e.g., Athena, Kareo, SimplePractice, or similar) Strong patient-centered communication skills High attention to detail and reliability in remote settings Ability to work during U.S. business hours Preferred Qualifications Background in home health, telemedicine, or outpatient cardiology Knowledge of medical billing or prior authorization processes Experience with remote patient monitoring Familiarity with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Why Join Us 100% remote clinical support role Opportunity to support meaningful cardiac patient care across cultures Collaborative and supportive team environment Long-term placement with a specialized U.S. practice
