EYFS Teacher – Slough

We are seeking a passionate, caring, and enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Slough, starting ASAP. This is an exciting opportunity to support children in Nursery and Reception, delivering high-quality early years education and fostering a love of learning from the very start. The school has a strong inclusive ethos and a nurturing early years environment. Staff work collaboratively to ensure children feel safe, confident, and inspired to learn. Senior leadership provides support, guidance, and professional development opportunities for all early years staff. As an EYFS Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing a stimulating curriculum. You will create a positive learning environment, support children’s social and emotional development, and help every child reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging lessons and play-based learning activities in Nursery and Reception Monitor and assess children’s progress, supporting their development across all areas Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all children, including those with SEN Promote positive behaviour, independence, and social skills Maintain a safe, organised, and stimulating learning environment Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and school leadership Contribute to school events, trips, and extra-curricular activities Support observations, assessments, and record-keeping in line with EYFS framework Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum, resources, and teaching strategies Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and school policies at all times The Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will: Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and/or relevant EYFS qualifications Have experience teaching Nursery and Reception pupils Be passionate, caring, and enthusiastic about early years education Have excellent classroom management and organisational skills Be able to differentiate learning for children of varying abilities Have strong communication and teamwork skills Be committed to safeguarding and promoting child wellbeing The school is located in Slough, with excellent transport links and a diverse, supportive community.
