Costing Manager Cairo, Egypt Large Premium Food Manufacturing Group Full-Time About the Company A leading Egyptian premium food manufacturing group with multiple production facilities and a strong regional market presence. The group operates across diverse product lines with a focus on quality, operational excellence, and brand leadership. Role Overview The Costing Manager will lead the end-to-end cost accounting function across multiple production sites. The role is critical in driving margin optimization, controlling production costs, and supporting strategic pricing decisions in a fast-paced FMCG environment. This position reports to the Finance Director / CFO and works closely with Operations, Supply Chain, and Procurement. Key Responsibilities Manage product costing across multiple factories and SKUs Oversee standard costing, actual costing, and variance analysis Monitor raw material yield, wastage, and production efficiency Analyze direct labor and manufacturing overhead absorption Control inventory valuation and ensure accurate costing in ERP Lead monthly cost closing and margin analysis by product line Partner with Operations to improve cost efficiency and productivity Support pricing strategies and new product launches Evaluate impact of FX fluctuations on imported raw materials Develop cost reduction initiatives across the group Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements Requirements Bachelors degree in Accounting / Finance CMA strongly preferred 8–12 years of experience in cost accounting within FMCG or food manufacturing Multi-plant experience is a must Strong ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, or similar manufacturing systems) Advanced Excel and data analysis skills Strong leadership and cross-functional communication skills Key Competencies Strong commercial acumen Deep understanding of manufacturing cost drivers Analytical mindset with attention to detail Ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving environment Leadership and team management capability What We Offer Competitive executive-level package Performance-based incentives Opportunity to work within a leading premium food group High-visibility role with strong impact on profitability.
