Our client is recruiting for a professional and welcoming Receptionist / Administrator to join a primary school in Birmingham . This is a full-time position starting in April 2026 , supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school office. Reception/Admin role on a full-time basis Front-facing position within a busy school office Supportive and friendly staff team Well-organised school environment The successful candidate will act as the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and staff, providing high-quality administrative support. Key Responsibilities • Managing the school reception and greeting visitors • Answering telephone and email enquiries • Supporting attendance, admissions, and pupil records • Data entry and general office administration • Supporting safeguarding and visitor procedures • Assisting senior staff with administrative tasks Experience and Qualifications • Previous reception or administrative experience preferred • Strong communication and organisational skills • Confident IT skills (school systems desirable) • Calm, professional, and approachable manner • Legal right to work in the UK School Information This Birmingham primary school is known for its inclusive ethos and positive relationships with families.
