Location : Hybrid from Limassol (Cyprus) or Remote from Europe Reporting to : Head of Compliance Key Responsibilities Licensing & Regulatory Management: Assist in the preparation, submission, and end-to-end management of new gaming license applications and the maintenance of existing licenses across various global jurisdictions. Compliance Integration: Draft, review, and update internal compliance policies, procedures, and standard terms and conditions to ensure alignment with current licensing requirements. Agreement & Marketing Review: Review commercial agreements, marketing materials, and internal operations to ensure strict compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks and company policy. Deadline Management: Manage regulatory reporting schedules, license renewal timetables, and related compliance deadlines. Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a key point of contact for regulatory bodies, financial institutions, and B2B partners regarding compliance, due diligence, and licensing matters. Risk Reporting: Identify and present regulatory risks and compliance issues to the Head of Compliance, providing clear analysis, strategic options, and practical recommendations. Due Diligence: Manage and prepare comprehensive corporate and KYC Due Diligence requests for regulatory authorities, payment providers, and business partners. Internal Advisory: Advise internal stakeholders on compliance risks, responsible gaming obligations, AML regulations, and regulatory shifts related to business transactions. Regulatory Research: Conduct focused legal and regulatory research on emerging iGaming markets, new licensing regimes, and changes to critical compliance requirements. Ad-Hoc Support: Assist with corporate matters, regulatory filings, and any other ad-hoc legal or compliance duties that may be required. What You Bring 4 years of relevant legal experience gained at a law firm or within an in-house legal department. Previous exposure to the iGaming/Online Gambling industry, including a basic understanding of global regulatory landscapes, particularly the critical jurisdictions (Curacao, Tobique, Kanawake, etc) is highly desirable. Law degree from an accredited institution. Working experience with Zygos (cloud-based legal practice management software). Demonstrated ability to understand business models (B2C & B2B) and provide practical, risk-balanced legal advice that aligns with commercial goals. Ability to work independently and cooperate with different teams. Experience gained within the technology sector or other fast-paced industries. A proactive, commercial mindset with the ability to identify legal risks while simultaneously supporting and enabling business objectives. Experience with JIRA for issue tracking, project management and reporting.
