Job Overview: As a Ground Staff Ticket Checker, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of ticketing and passenger services at our company. You will be working closely with our ground staff team to provide excellent customer service and ensure the safety and comfort of our passengers. Key Responsibilities: - Check and verify tickets of passengers at the boarding gate - Assist passengers with any queries related to their tickets or travel - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures - Handle any ticketing issues or discrepancies in a professional manner - Coordinate with ground staff and other departments to ensure timely departure of flights/trains/buses - Monitor passenger flow and assist with crowd control if necessary - Provide excellent customer service to all passengers - Keep accurate records of ticket sales and passenger information - Report any safety or security concerns to the appropriate authorities - Assist with any other duties as assigned by the supervisor Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience in ticketing or customer service is preferred - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Basic computer skills - Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays - Must be physically fit and able to stand for long periods of time Contract Details: This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.
