Accountant

IO Interactive (IOI) is known for creating groundbreaking, award-winning games, with studios in Copenhagen, Malmö, Barcelona, Brighton, and Istanbul. As we continue to grow, we’re excited to welcome talented individuals to our team. We are currently working on some thrilling projects that showcase our passion for innovation, including Project 007 , a James Bond video game featuring an entirely original Bond story, and Project Fantasy , an ambitious new IP for console and PC that aims to redefine the online fantasy RPG genre. We are now seeking an Accountant to join our team in our Malmö, Brighton or Copenhagen Studio. In this role, you will work closely with our international finance department to ensure accurate and timely financial operations in compliance with local regulations. What you will do Perform daily bookkeeping and reconciliation tasks. Manage supplier invoices and create purchase orders. Oversee payment procedures and ensure accuracy. Conduct bank reconciliations. Manage and maintain supplier relationships. Reconcile Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. Follow up on missing approvals and payments for creditors. Monitor the invoice and requisition approval process in the procurement system. Manage & own the invoices inbox for all supplier requests & invoices Perform & Support with Monthend task Perform & Support with Audits Adhoc tasks Who You Are Experienced: At least 3 years of experience in accounting or a related role. Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proficient in English Knowledgeable: Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices. Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work independently.
