Key Responsibilities Overseeing the day-to-day management, maintenance, and security of the school site Carrying out routine health & safety checks, including fire alarms and emergency lighting Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and maintaining accurate records Coordinating and supervising contractors on site Managing repairs, general maintenance, and minor improvement works Supporting school events and occasional out-of-hours site requirements The Ideal Candidate Will Have Previous experience as a Site Manager, Premises Manager, or Caretaker Strong knowledge of health & safety and site compliance requirements Practical maintenance and DIY skills The ability to prioritise workload and respond effectively to issues A proactive, organised, and dependable approach Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff This wonderful primary school in Kent offers a supportive leadership team, positive working culture, and a valued role within the wider school community.
