Building Maintenance / Handyman Ensure a Safe, Operable, and Welcoming Environment Location: Grande Prairie, AB Salary: Competitive ($30-35/hour), with excellent benefits Schedule: Monday to Friday (days); limited call As the Maintenance Manager/ Handyman, you'll be a crucial part of the team, responsible for overseeing the seamless operations of our buildings and grounds. Reporting to the Site Leader, as the Maintenance Manager/ Handyman you'll be the go-to expert, implementing and maintaining a comprehensive preventative maintenance program to keep this seniors living care home in top condition for our residents, guests, and staff. Maintenance Manager/ Handyman Key Responsibilities: Oversee all building systems, including electrical, mechanical, and grounds, ensuring safety and functionality Manage work orders, preventative maintenance, and asset history using our Maintenance Care software Prioritize and execute repairs, obtaining quotes from local trades, suppliers, and contractors Collaborate effectively with all vendors and contractors to deliver high-quality service Provide winter maintenance, keeping sidewalks, patios, and exits clear of ice and snow Support our fire safety program and quality assurance initiatives If you're a hands-on problem-solver with strong technical skills and a passion for creating a welcoming environment, we want to hear from you.
