About the position: As a receptionist with us, you are our public face and play a key role in giving our guests a fantastic start to their stay. Responsibilities Receptionist – Guest Services & Administration Check guests in and out and provide information about the resort and Hemsedal Staff the hotel reception, answer the phone, and handle emails Give guests tips on activities, restaurants, and experiences in and around Fýri Handle bookings and payments accurately and efficiently Ensure that public areas in the reception are welcoming and organized Collaborate with other departments to ensure the best possible guest experience Handle guest complaints and requests in a professional and service-oriented manner Who are you? A service-oriented and communicative receptionist You love meeting people, are passionate about exceeding guest expectations, and have a genuine interest in hotels and mountain environments. We value playfulness, professionalism, and team spirit. Whether you work days, evenings, or weekends, you contribute energy, curiosity, and an open mind. Previous experience as a receptionist or in service work is an advantage, but your personality and willingness to learn are most important to us. Qualifications: Good knowledge of Scandinavian languages and English Previous experience from hotel reception, customer service, or similar roles is a plus Computer skills and experience with booking systems or administrative systems Communicative, meticulous, and solution-oriented Positive Team player About the position: Employment type: 80% seasonal with the possibility of permanent employment (day, evening, and weekend work) Start date and salary: Salary according to agreement, start date in May 2026 About the process: We will be conducting interviews on an ongoing basis, with a final application date of February 23 .
