Chief Operating Officer We are hiring for a growing fintech company that provides lending and business development solutions to small and medium-sized enterprises. As the company enters its next stage of growth, it is seeking a Chief Operating Officer — a strategic yet hands-on leader who can build structure, scale operations, and ensure sustainable performance. This is an execution-driven leadership role for someone who understands financial operations, regulated environments, risk control, and scalable process design. You will be responsible for translating strategic vision into operational reality. Working closely with the CEO and shareholders, you will oversee day-to-day business operations, drive performance across departments, and ensure that growth does not compromise compliance, quality, or efficiency. What You’ll Do Lead and optimise daily operations across all business functions. Build and scale structured processes across lending, underwriting, customer onboarding, and servicing. Define, monitor, and drive operational KPIs and financial performance. Ensure regulatory compliance and robust risk management standards. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost control in partnership with Finance. Align department heads around strategic priorities and execution plans. Implement automation and digital transformation initiatives to improve efficiency. Strengthen internal governance, accountability, and reporting structures. Represent the operational function in executive-level decision-making and board discussions. Requirements 3+ years of experience in a senior operational leadership role within a credit institution, lending company, or regulated financial organisation. Strong understanding of lending lifecycle, underwriting, servicing, and operational risk. Experience working directly with Board members or executive stakeholders.
