Sales and Business Development Manager – Construction Projects

The Sales & Business Development Manager – Construction Projects is responsible for generating new project opportunities, securing construction contracts, and driving revenue growth within the construction, engineering, design-build, and fit-out sectors. This role is a revenue-generating position focused on building a strong project pipeline, closing multimillion-peso contracts, and strengthening long-term client partnerships. The ideal candidate is a technically grounded professional (Engineer or Architect preferred) with strong commercial acumen and proven sales capability in the construction industry. Generate New Business Identify and pursue new construction and fit-out project opportunities. Build relationships with developers, property owners, project managers, and decision-makers. Conduct client meetings, presentations, and site visits to secure projects. Maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified project leads. 2. Manage Client Engagement Understand client requirements and project scope. Present company capabilities and value proposition. Maintain regular communication with clients from initial contact to contract award. Build long-term partnerships to encourage repeat business. 3. Prepare Proposals & Close Deals Coordinate with Estimating, QS, Engineering, and Operations teams to prepare competitive proposals. Present proposals and commercial offers to clients. Lead negotiations on pricing, scope, and contract terms. Secure signed contracts and ensure smooth turnover to the project team. 4. Sales Monitoring & Reporting Track leads, proposals, and awarded projects. Maintain organized sales pipeline and forecasting records. Submit regular sales updates and performance reports. Ensure revenue targets are achieved. Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Business, or related field. Licensed Engineer or Architect is an advantage. Experience Minimum 5–7 years experience in construction sales, design-build, engineering services, or related industries. Proven track record of closing multimillion-peso construction contracts. Experience handling end-to-end sales cycle in project-based environments. Skills & Competencies Strong understanding of construction processes, bidding procedures, and project timelines. Excellent negotiation and presentation skills. Confident, results-driven, and revenue-focused. Strong relationship-building ability. Proficient in MS Office and CRM/pipeline tracking tools.
