Account Director

ABOUT THE ROLE The Account Director is the Client Partner’s strategic and operational right hand, responsible for owning senior client relationships, driving business impact, and ensuring high quality delivery across a multi-market account. This role is a blend of strategist, operator and people leader. This role could be based in either Jakarta or Bangkok. Key responsibilities Client leadership Lead senior client relationships and act as a trusted strategic partner Translate ambiguous business problems into clear strategy frameworks and narratives Be proactive in anticipating client needs, shaping agendas, and addressing issues before they escalate Full funnel acumen Lead full-funnel thinking across branding and performance Manage the trade-offs between short-term efficiency and long-term brand building, and frame decisions clearly to senior stakeholders Encourage experimentation that is hypothesis-led and grounded in business impact Operational excellence Drive structure, timelines, and clarity across complex multi-market programs Own quality control of regional decks, frameworks, and narratives Align multiple stakeholders across markets, functions, and partners People leadership & culture Coach and develop Senior Managers, Planners, and cross-functional leads Act as a culture carrier and role model for ways of working Raise delivery standards while protecting team health and morale Industry knowledge & continuous learning Stay ahead of shifts across media, martech, measurement, creative and translate these into practical implications for the client Bring external POVs, case studies, and benchmarks into client conversations Foster a learning culture by sharing best practices and emerging opportunities with the team ABOUT YOU 8–12+ years in media agency having SEA market exposure Experience working with large regional clients involving senior stakeholders Strong working knowledge across core digital channels (search, social, programmatic), with depth in at least 2 and strategic fluency across the full mix Comfortable navigating industry research and insight platforms (e.g. WARC, Sensor Tower, Similar Web, GWI) Confident communicator with calm senior presence Commercially grounded and delivery oriented APPLICATION DEADLINE: Sunday 01 March 2026.
