The company A leading global corporate and investment bank is looking for an experienced Equity Derivatives Front Office Developer to join its technology team in Hong Kong. The firm operates across major financial markets and provides advanced trading and structured solutions to equity derivatives clients worldwide. The team You will be part of a global development team with colleagues in Europe and Hong Kong, working closely with traders, sales and a senior Business Analyst covering Equity Derivatives Flow team. The team focuses on building and enhancing applications used by flow desks globally for structured products pricing and workflow automation. The role This is a full stack .Net developer role responsible for implementing and maintaining Equity Markets applications, with a focus on Equity Derivatives Flow and structured products. You will deliver local enhancements, support trading workflows in Asia, participate in global sprints and best practices, and provide proximity development and bug fixes to front-office users. The requirements Around 5 years of hands-on development experience in C#. Strong expertise in .Net technologies, including unit testing frameworks such as XUnit or NUnit. Solid database skills with Sybase and/or SQL Server. Good understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies and experience working in global project teams. Confident working in a multicultural environment; strong communication skills and a proven team player, able to handle pressure. Good command of spoken and written English; French or Portuguese is a plus. Knowledge of Angular or other modern front-end technologies is an advantage. Experience with Web Services/SOAP/IIS and messaging protocols such as FIX and AMQP is a plus. Exposure to DevOps tools and practices (e.g. Sonar, Checkmarx, CI/CD, XL Release, XL Deploy) is a strong plus. Prior experience in Equity Derivatives trading environments is highly beneficial.
