Senior Coherency Verification Engineer

Job Description Our client is expanding their Verification Team and is looking for an experienced Senior Coherency Verification Engineer with a strong background in microprocessor architecture. In this role, you will work within the Verification Team to ensure the correctness and functionality of complex digital designs at Register Transfer Level, according to architectural specifications. You will apply advanced verification methodologies and tools to validate coherent systems and contribute to the development of high performance processors. Location : Barcelona, Spain - Hybrid Employment Type: Full time or Contract Responsibilities: As a Senior Coherency Verification Engineer , your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Verify complex RTL designs according to architecture specifications Develop and maintain verification environments using SystemVerilog and UVM Manage regression environments using scripting and automation tools Perform block level, sub system and top level verification Apply formal and dynamic verification techniques Analyze and debug simulation results Validate cache coherency mechanisms and system level interactions Work closely with architecture and RTL design teams Requirements: Master or PhD in Electronics, Computer Engineering or related field English level C1 or higher 8+ years of relevant industrial experience Strong proficiency in SystemVerilog and UVM Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Bash or TCL Experience with simulation and regression tools Knowledge of revision control systems such as git or svn Experience in block level, sub system or top level verification Experience with formal and dynamic verification methodologies Experience verifying coherent systems Knowledge of the CHI protocol Understanding of cache structures and parameters Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and teamwork abilities What’s in it for you?
