Junior Financial Analyst

Manpower Malta, on behalf of our client, is seeking to recruit a Junior Financial Analyst to join our clients internal dynamic finance team based at their headquarters in Floriana. The selected candidate will form part of the groups consolidations team and will be actively involved in managing financial reporting for a number of local and international subsidiaries. This role offers exposure to a complex group structure and the opportunity to work within a highly professional and collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities Review group reporting packs received from both local and foreign subsidiaries. Handle various tasks related to the group consolidation process. Assist in the preparation and compilation of consolidated financial statements. Prepare financial statements for specific entities within the group. Manage and oversee intra-group balance reconciliations across subsidiaries, including quarterly follow-ups with subsidiary finance teams. Assist with accounting matters related to our client or any of its subsidiaries, as required. Provide support on an ad hoc basis, including forecasts, due diligence exercises, and the preparation of other financial reports. Support subsidiary accounting departments with one-off assignments as needed. Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time. Requirements Fully qualified accountant or in the final stages of completing ACCA. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel. Excellent communication skills in both English and Maltese. Preferably 2-3 years experience in a similar role. Auditing experience and knowledge of IFRSs will be considered an asset. Proactive, methodical, and capable of working independently as well as in a team within a fast-paced environment. Strong organisational and analytical skills to identify risks and areas for improvement. Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders across the group.
