Senior Autonomous Systems Engineer - USA

We’re looking for an experienced autonomous systems engineer with research-level understanding - someone who is equally comfortable reasoning from first principles and turning that knowledge into production systems running under real-time, physical and safety constraints . The role is based in the USA and requires relocation. What you’ll do – Design and evolve perception, estimation and decision-making systems – Work with multi-sensor fusion (camera / radar / LiDAR) under uncertainty – Develop ML models deployed in real-time, safety-critical environments – Own behavior planning, localization and calibration at a system level – Reason about failure modes, uncertainty, latency and robustness – Collaborate closely across software, hardware, simulation and validation What you bring – Research-level understanding of autonomy, ADAS, robotics, control or applied ML – Ability to read, critique and extend academic work — and ship beyond it – Experience working with systems where incorrect behavior has physical consequences – Strong grounding in probability, estimation, optimization and system trade-offs – Comfort acting as technical authority in ambiguous, high-stakes problem spaces – Willingness to relocate to the USA Who you are We believe that you are passionate about new technology within the automotive autonomous drive sector and want to be developing the best solutions on the market.
