SEO Specialist

Job Title: SEO Specialist Location: Hybrid - Mrieħel, Malta (3 days per week in office) Reporting to: Head of Acquisition & Planning The Role You will play a key role in driving organic growth by executing both on-page and off-page optimization strategies. You will collaborate closely with content, brand, and technical teams to ensure best practices are implemented across all digital properties. Help identify opportunities, track performance and continuously refine SEO efforts. Key Responsibilities Execute on-page and off-page SEO initiatives under the SEO Manager’s direction. Review, optimize, and publish content in collaboration with the content and brand teams. Manage link acquisition efforts and maintain a clean, high-quality backlink profile. Conduct keyword research and support content gap analysis. Track and report performance metrics (traffic, ranking, CTR, backlinks) to ensure continuous improvement. Support the SEO Manager in testing new strategies and scaling successful approaches across brands and markets. CMS Management, assist on managing and optimizing website content structure, metadata and performance to improve search engine visibility and rankings. What You Bring 1-2 years in SEO experience Understanding of SEO fundamentals Ability to analyze performance data and translate insights into actionable recommendations. Solid communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with content, tech, and marketing teams. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for managing multiple projects simultaneously. Nice to Have Experience in the iGaming / Casino industry. Familiarity with content performance tools (e.g., SurferSEO, Clearscope, or Frase). A proactive mindset, someone who stays updated on SEO trends, algorithm updatesand competitive best practices.
