SCADA Analyst II | Energy & Pipeline Systems

Our client is seeking a SCADA Analyst II to support the configuration, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance of SCADA systems used for operational and measurement data across energy and pipeline assets. This role is ideal for candidates with an IT Full Stack, IT Administration, or early‑career OT/SCADA background who want to grow deeper into SCADA systems and industrial data environments. You'll work closely with operations, measurement, and IT/OT teams to ensure reliable data flow, system performance, and continuous improvement of SCADA applications. No Visa Sponsorship | No Relocation Assistance Contract Duration: 6 months | W2 Location: Onsite (Only local candidates will be considered) Requirements: Perform additional duties as assigned. Support business processes that rely on SCADA applications. Write SQL queries and support basic database tasks related to SCADA data. Work within established SCADA processes, procedures, and standards to deliver SCADA solutions. Configure, troubleshoot, and support SCADA systems, including operational and measurement data gathering. Support SCADA application components such as screens, displays, data interfaces, and data acquisition workflows. Assist with system assessments and contribute to the design and development of SCADA functionality. Create and maintain scripts using Python or VBScript for automation and system support. Collaborate with business partners to translate requirements into SCADA system functionality. Qualifications/Must-Haves: Scripting experience with Python and/or VBScript. SQL query writing skills and basic database knowledge. Strong communication, organizational skills, and a safety‑first mindset. Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent hands‑on experience. 1+ years of experience in OT, SCADA, IT Full Stack, or IT Administration roles. Strong troubleshooting skills across applications, data, and system components. Knowledge of network operations, telecommunications, and general IT concepts. Preferred Skills: Understanding of database development and management. Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field. Experience with ClearSCADA, AutoSol, Kepware, or OPC protocol. Exposure to SCADA systems in oil & gas, pipeline, utilities, or industrial automation environments. Business analysis skills (requirements gathering, system analysis, process improvement)
