Entry Level Geotechnical Engineer

Job Description Qualifications: We are seeking an entry level geotechnical engineer for our geotechnical and construction materials testing department. We are seeking a motivated entry-level Geotechnical Engineer to support geotechnical and construction materials testing projects across a variety of sites, including residential, commercial, educational, and infrastructure projects such as roadways and bridges. Duties and Responsibilities Would Include · Assist with layout of soil boring locations and support field data collection for geotechnical investigations · Help generate boring logs and select samples for laboratory testing · Contribute to the preparation of geotechnical reports under supervision · Support construction materials testing operations and coordinate with field technicians · Perform basic engineering calculations related to soil bearing capacity and foundation systems · Review and organize testing data and reports for internal review Requirements: B.S. in Civil Engineering or Geological Engineering, M.S. preferred. One to three years of geotechnical engineering or construction materials testing consulting experience Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certificate strongly preferred. Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history
