PHP Developer

We are looking for an experienced PHP Developer to contribute to the design, development, and long-term evolution of backend systems and software products. The ideal candidate combines strong hands-on development skills with an architectural mindset , capable of shaping scalable, maintainable solutions. Details: Contract: B2B Location: Prague based , hybrid (at least 3 times per week during the project initial stage) Duration: Long-term (6 months + extension) Language: English, Czech Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain PHP-based backend applications. Contribute to system architecture , including application structure, data models, and integration patterns. Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate with external services. Make technical decisions that ensure scalability, performance, security, and maintainability . Review code and provide architectural and technical guidance to other developers. Collaborate closely with product owners, frontend developers, and DevOps teams. Participate in technical discussions, estimations, and solution design. Requirements: Strong proficiency in PHP (7/8). Hands-on experience with modern frameworks such as Symfony or Laravel . Solid understanding of OOP principles, MVC, and design patterns . Experience designing and working with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL). Experience contributing to or defining application architecture in medium to large-scale systems. Familiarity with Git , CI/CD pipelines, and modern development workflows. Experience with DDD, microservices, or modular monolith architectures
