About the Company: Established manufacturing company in Bedford, OH is seeking a driven and analytical Chemical Engineer to join our team. This is a direct hire opportunity working closely with ownership to improve production efficiency, increase output, and optimize equipment performance within our manufacturing operations. Position Summary: The Chemical Engineer will play a key role in evaluating current production processes and implementing improvements to increase volume, efficiency, and overall equipment effectiveness. This position will work directly with the ownership team to assess manufacturing workflows, recommend process enhancements, and support strategic growth initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Analyze and improve chemical manufacturing processes related to beauty products Evaluate current equipment and production methods to increase efficiency and output Collaborate with ownership to determine process implementation strategies Identify opportunities to reduce waste, downtime, and production costs Support scaling initiatives and volume growth planning Develop and maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures Assist with troubleshooting production challenges and implementing corrective actions Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering (required) Strong understanding of process improvement and manufacturing principles Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills Ability to work closely with leadership and contribute to strategic decision-making Excellent communication and organizational skills What We Offer: Direct hire opportunity with long-term growth potential High-impact role with direct collaboration with ownership Stable manufacturing environment with opportunity to shape production improvements
