Drama Teacher Required - March - Hertfordshire

We are working with a high-achieving 11–18 secondary school in Hertfordshire to find a scholarly Drama Teacher for a full-time appointment starting 20th March. The school is looking for a specialist with an expert grasp of theatre history and practitioners. About the School This school is a high-performing mixed secondary with a strong track record of academic success in the arts. It attracts students who are motivated and eager to explore the theoretical and practical depths of Theatre Studies. The department is highly organised, with rigorous assessment structures already in place. The Role The teacher will deliver high-level instruction, particularly at Key Stages 4 and 5. The focus will be on refining student technique and ensuring that theoretical portfolios are completed to an exceptional standard before the July 2026 deadline. Requirements Excellent subject knowledge of various theatre practitioners and styles. A track record of helping students achieve strong GCSE and A-Level results. The school is unable to offer visa sponsorship; candidates must have the right to work in the UK. Salary M1 – UPS3 (£31,350 – £47,839) per annum, pro-rata.
