Teacher of Spanish - Islington Independent School (ECT Support)

We are working with a leading independent school in Islington to appoint a linguistically talented Spanish ECT for an ASAP start. The school is seeking a teacher who can foster spoken confidence and a genuine love for Hispanic cultures. The induction process for ECTs is designed to be nurturing, ensuring that new teachers feel part of the community immediately. The Role This is a full-time, permanent position teaching Spanish at KS3 and KS4. The department values communicative language teaching and encourages teachers to bring contemporary cultural elements into their lessons. There is no KS5 responsibility, allowing the ECT to focus on building strong foundations at the secondary level. Requirements QTS and fluency in Spanish. The school is unable to offer visa sponsorship; candidates must have the right to work in the UK. Excellent communication skills and a human-like, approachable manner. Salary M1 – UPS3 (£40,317 – £62,496) per annum.
